1940's revised.

i've had this 1940's tray for awhile.
it's design reminds me of the living room draperies
from my childhood home.

but it needed something to make it really special.

a recent private sale yielded just the thing.
a great selection of buttons from the same decade.

i had fun going through them stacking them up.
adding some magnets.

i love the soft gold, brown, cream, and black together.

the first estate sale of the year.

the cold january weather has kept me inside and
the local estate sales just haven't sounded that interesting...

until last thurday when a sale caught my eye...

and off i went.  and i was happy i did.

see two new listings of my finds.
a neat old galvanized tote
and
a fun instant collection of vintage gardening tools.

note~  if i didn't answer your specific question from last week

what do you want to know?

i can't do a post without a photo
so i had to include this one.
it is one of my all time favorites.

now with that out of the way
it has been a while since i asked you, my readers,
if you have any questions about starting an etsy shop,
or selling on etsy, or about my experiences
selling on etsy for the last 1 1/2 years,
or anything else etsy related for that matter.

you can email me directly or put your questions in the comments
and i will answer your questions as best i can.

it has been a wild and fun ride and i am excited
to start another year.

i just had my 2300th sale so i have some experience at this thing called etsy,
so ask away.

note~  and some of you have your blog comments set up so i can't reply
by email so if you aren't sure please leave your email address
in your comment.  thanks.

if you want to take a peek at
what's new visit anythinggoeshere.etsy.

note~  junkstufftreaures, you will have to give me
an email address to reply to.

for the love of the humble clothespin.

i love vintage clothespins.  to me they represent the simple life.

over the last year i hadn't kept up with stocking
all the different selections of vintage clothespins
i have available, but after much photographing and listing
over the last couple days...

i am fully stocked again.

if you need vintage clothespins
i have them.

lots and lots of them

abc's

after the christmas rush was over
i took some time off from my etsy shop
to do some cleaning up and reorganizing.

one of things i needed was a new backdrop
for my photographs.

my other one was too small
so i repainted an old shed door a fresh white.

and had mr. anythinggoeshere make
some interchangeable shelves out of
recycled materials.

i love how easy it is to
take photos with my new setup.

do you like it?

full set of vintage brass stencil letters.
{a great size to use for necklaces}
