the perfect sale.

i bet anyone who regularly reads my blog
knows that i am selling many of my collections.

this week it was this collection of 11 antique butter paddles.
i listed them in little groups,
but my secret hope
was that one person would buy them all.

and yesterday someone did.

all of them are going to stay together and
they have already left for their new home in kentucky.

do you have a perfect buy or sell story?

share it in the comments!

  1. Those beautifully worn butter paddles would look gorgeous in an all white kitchen. I have that same green edged board hanging in my kitchen!

I have lots of "buy" stories. Years ago I went to an outdoor estate sale at a very run-down house. As I was leaving, I asked one of the family members if they had any dressers for sale. They said they did, but didn't get everything hauled outside in time and sent one of the sons in to get it. It was an old Eastlake spoon carved dresser with a cracked top that had seen better days. At the urging of my friend, I bought it for $35 and to this day, it's one of my most cherished pieces in our house. I'll never part with it. :)
