Benjamin Moore now has a mildew resistant Bath and Spa paint in a matte finish.
I prefer matte finish paint in our old house because all the walls have flaws.
But before now there wasn't a matte finish bath recommended paint.
Now there is.
The color of the bath is really MUCH lighter and MORE spa/seaglass aqua. There aren't
any windows in this room and the camera/light totally changed the color.
This is an old tip from back in the day where all draperies had pleats.
After hanging your shower curtain, band it... I used printer paper...
with the folds where you want them.
Leave it that way for a couple of weeks and they will then hang that way.
You can speed up the process by running the shower to "set the folds."
If you like this shower curtain... it looks like a spa towel....
I found it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.
You can paint your grout.
I had previously cleaned mine throughly, but it still looked dirty.
While I was at Home Depot looking for something else,
I spotted Polyblend Grout Renew so I decided to try it.
This is a great product with great results.
It takes awhile to do it, but the end result is amazing.
The 25+ year old tile now looks new with clean, white grout.
And Grout Renew comes in lots and lots of colors.
You can also use it to change the color of your grout.
All the opinions in this post are my own and I have not been paid for them
or given free product.
Hope you can use one or all of them in your own bath remodel.
Now I am starting on a second bath remodel with
a whole new set of issues. These bathrooms are 40 years old.
