When Does a Mailbox look like a 1930's RocketShip?

When it is this one!!!!!!

Love its deco design and great aged patina.

It even has a special spot for newspapers and magazines.

Could it look any more like something Flash Gordon would fly?

This is currently my favorite thing for sale at anythinggoeshere.etsy.

An Instant Collection~ Sew Fine

Are you like me,
Endlessly fascinated by what's inside a sewing tin?

First I have to shake the tin and
then I have to see what is inside!

I spent hours looking through and playing with the things inside
 my gtandmother's sewing tins when
when I was a kid.

What treasures I thought all those pretty buttons, threads, and snaps were!

See my latest sewing tin find at anythinggoeshere.etsy.

SOLD

Do you love exploring these tins as much as I do?

He would love to have a new home where someone will show him off~

Instead of stuffing his stuffed little self inside a piece of furniture like bad Mrs. anythinggoeshere.

Find him HERE.

He needs a bunny rescue quick.

He is bringing his own furniture with him.

during this run-up to Easter.

She is helping me by being a prop in one of my etsy photos.
Isn't she cute?  Look at those adorable ears.

And yes, she is a vintage Steiff.
In the Steiff World her name is Niki, and she
was introduced in 1951.

Sharp As A Tack!

Anyone who reads my blog knows that I have been selling on etsy
for the last 8 months.

One of my purposes for selling on etsy is to DE-stash
my long time stashes.

And this last week has been the biggest DE-stash yet.

At the start of last week I listed hundreds and hundreds and hundreds
of 12 different kinds tacks from
two different Estate Sales of upholsterers that I went to many years ago.

So, so time consuming~ all that counting, and photographing,
but these are the only 3 kinds left so it was very productive.

A thousand+ tacks went to one customer in California!

(These are fun tacks with extra long shanks.)

And in addition to that I took groups photos of 150 vintage copper print blocks of hardware
items from an Estate of a guy who did Hardware Store advertising.

And sent 106 of them to Canada.

Oh, I am SO loving this etsy thing!!!!!!!!

Stop by and see what I am DE-stashing this week
at

And thank you to everyone who is helping by
moving along my stashes to your house!!!!

I hope you are enjoying them as much as I have!

Shabby Chic Your Flower Boxes

Last summer at an Estate Sale I bought a bucket full of these
white iron flowers, and all winter
I have been selling them on Etsy
in sets of 3 for $15.

Now I am down to the last set and
I was thinking how nice they would look
embellishing a simple flower box.

Fortunately a set of 3 fits into a small Priority Mail flat rate box
so this set has a shipping charge of only $5.

Do you see the possibilities for your flower box?  If so they
are listed here at anythinggoeshere.etsy.

Updated~ Now SOLD

The weather here in Chicagoland is supposed to be nice
this weekend
so I will be out checking the winter damage to my garden.

How about you?
