Black flower cart planter another way

I wrote a post a couple of days ago about this 1950's garden cart planter

that is missing its original plastic pot.

But how I had repurposed it with peat pots has been bugging me

ever since.

So I had to come up with another idea.

What do you think?

These curious old pieces of farm equipment

Were hanging around the local Shell Station parking lot

a couple of weeks ago.

Mr. Anythinggoeshere and I stopped for gas on the way home

from our weekly trip to the local flea market.

And there they were.

And now they're gone.

I would love to know where they came from

and where they went.

Don't some of them look like they were made from old cars?

Perhaps some early repurposing?

Ordered Chaos~ Where I Create

For the third year I am participating in the Where Bloggers Create Party.

There are hundreds of bloggers participating so you will get a chance to see many wonderful workspaces~

Many of them are pretty and well-organized, but I decided to go a different route~ the unvarnished truth. Just the way my workspace is~ no straightening up, no organization, no cleaning. Mine space looks about like it  did last year except there is a little less stuff so these are from last year's party.

I didn't do any cleaning up for a whole year.  I am a bad, bad girl.  I am so lazy I am reusing last year's post.  I am a bad, bad girl.

Here it is starting at my worktable and rotating around 360 degrees from my chair. Enjoy!

My way of creating is to buy stuff and later I decide what to make out of it so I enjoy seeing what I have and then creating something.

Most of my products are created while soaking in the bathtub and then come to life down here in the studio.... really my basement.

A few of my favorite things~ Lovingly collected and letting go.

I sold all the wire glove stretchers from my old blog header.

Tomorrow is the First Anniversary of my online shop, anythinggoeshere.etsy.

And in anticipation of the coming second year,

I have been taking a look back at the first.

Several dozens of my Italian stone fruit are out the door.

And one of my reasons for opening an online shop

was to sell items from my personal, long-time collections.

My favorite glass terrarium is living in California.

This has worked out really well because I get to decide

"piece by piece" when it is time for something to go.

After I enjoyed this decoration on the front door last fall

I listed it, and off it went.

Both of my vintage Phrenology heads

are living in other parts of the country.

I am getting  close to not having any vintage garden tools~

something I collected for over 20 years.

When cleaning off a shelf in one of the bedrooms

I realized I was never going to collect any more vintage Easter

so this guy went to live with dozens of others like him.

This old bug started to bug me

so now he is bugging someone else.

Making a clean sweep of a desk, this armillary had to go.

As a regular reader of my blog, you know the whole story of brushes,

brushes and more brushes getting multiple new homes.

Loved this religious piece, but again knew it was never going to become

a collection so it is now living in Pennsylvania with someone who

does collect them.

This part of my "Museum of Measurement" left in the clean=off of the above mentioned desk.
