The Florist's Estate Sale

Yesterday I went to a Florist's Estate Sale that is going on in Winnetka, Illinois. Several of my readers wanted to know what I bought.

Some nice old jars and 24 old strawberry pin cushions. And a tin sunburst mirror.

Ribbon, of course.

Lots of old glitter. Look at the interesting containers.

A nice selection of flower frogs and a cute little wire cart planter!

And wool gloves~ this is exactly what I wear all winter. Now I am set for many years to come.

What is your favorite? Or would you have left all of it behind?

  1. I would definitely have jumped on the strawberry pin cushions, the ribbons, the glitter (you can never have enough), and the wool gloves.

I'm particularly partial to the strawberry pin cushions...I shall make myself one!

  14. I need to start going to estate sales. I love the gloves and the glitter in the bottles. I've never boughten any. I went into Roberts to get some, and came out with glue glitter. Not the right thing.

  15. Love the big jars. I can think of a million things to display in them.

  16. I love the ribbon, the glitter & the flower frogs. I don't like wool, so I would have passed on the gloves. The jars and strawberry pincushions I probably would have bought as well. So basically I would have bought everything except for the gloves. But then, I don't have any money so I probably wouldn't have been able to buy anything. But it's fun to dream.
