"The Piles Project" Progress

My 2009 procrastinating started after a successful spring season of Curbside Shopping {aka: Picking The Trash}.

I started fixing everything up on as a project {Lose the Piles} on August 16 with the goal of having everything done by the time the snow flies!

Above is one of 3 main piles in my garage at the start.

This numbered drawer dresser my favorite completion, and a favorite with my blog readers.

This white cabinet is the one project I did to keep.

This little green table is the only thing that hasn't sold.

That all these projects {and some more not pictured} are done and sold is The Good News.

Before I started fixing things up I couldn't see this shelf because of the piles in front of it! That is also Good News!

Oops! Here is The Bad News. This is an AFTER picture. I still have my work count out for me to finish before the snow flies!!!!!

  2. I think it is wonderful that you've sold everything except one table. I also can't imagine that you will get through that entire pile...but, maybe you will have a late snow.

  7. Ha! I have a pile just like that in my basement and I am making a push to finish all of my paint spraying before it gets too cold. I keep telling myself I'm not going to buy anything or bring home any more freebies until I get through the pile. Doesn't happen...it just keeps multiplying!

I wish I had the place to use it.Such old furniture has such charme.
