The soft colors of spring

Aren't these the perfect match~ the soft pastels of spring and EGGS?

The eggs are plastic from the thrift store ....

Altered with tissue and French graphics.

Embellished with flowers and gems from a thrift store wreath. The funny thing is that I sold just this kind of wreath when I had a store.

Then into a nest with shreds of a early 1800's book.

  3. Oh how fun. I forgot about covering eggs with tissue. I use to cover them with cloth too for a really country look. Such fun. Hugs, Marty

  4. Hi Joan,
Love your eggs! The shredded paper is fun. Do you use a shredder or do you have to shred by hand?

  12. Those are adorable...I think even I could make one. Alas, I am procrastinating upon an urgent purge of magazines. To put them in the recycling bins, I must walk past piles of grimy snow-ice. I'll think of the eggs as I whistle my way past.

    Have a great weekend, Joan.
