The kugel below was my best and favorite vintage Christmas Estate Sale find this year.
I found it in a local basement...
Along with the antique ironstone cake stand underneath it.
The cake stand is small and the kugel is large! A winning combination!

They were suspended from the ceiling and were known as Friendship Balls. Later they morphed into the lighter weight Christmas tree ornaments.}
