Another sleepless night near Chicago and another dusted and rearranged table top. This is the coffee table that is between me and my favorite Judge Judy on TV.
Several of my favorite collections are right in front of me everyday. Here are some old rubber stamps.
Old brushes of several kinds.
Brushes and folding rulers~ metal and wood.
More rubber stamps and rolls of tickets.
Shells and leather books.
These are all colors I love. Creamy whites, browns, blacks, and gilt. And briefly dust-free.
All these look fabulous, and the colors, hm, i love the colors :o)
ReplyDeleteI hope to have a beautiful little shop one day as well...
Great dusting by the way, everything is shining!!! :) But you know, in shops like these it is ok to have some dust, it is part of the package, haha.
Hugs, Erika
Looks comfy and cozy and dustless! Great job! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous AND dust free? Wow! I love the colors an textures! Have a blessed day and I pray you get some sleep!
ReplyDeleteYou have some really fantastic treasures. I wish I could say that my house was dust free at this moment.....maybe tomorrow :)

You have a wonderful eye for the ordinary which then becomes extraorindary...and now dustfree! deb
ReplyDeleteThose old stamps are divine! They are so hard to find anymore! Love your photos!
ReplyDeleteJoan! What's with you and no sleep? You're getting a lot done but you need your sleep girl!

Such great collections. I love the old books and the shells. The colors are wonderful. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteIt occurred to me that maybe you might use one of my dusting secrets for things with lots of details and crannies...
ReplyDeleteCanned air - the kind you use for your computer keyboard...if you had a small air compressor with a really gentle setting I imagine it would work too - canned air is expensive - but sometimes (especially when the MIL is coming, I find it useful)...
Oh the dust! It keeps me from enjoying my collections. I recently decided I should stop collecting teacups because I dont want to dust anymore, lol!
ReplyDeleteGood morning...I was laughing to myself thinking the biggest collection I've got goin' in front of me is my laundry and dishes! Buwahahaha...just kidding...I do like your point of view however. It is right in front of you. I'm happiest when I have patterns, thread, material right in front of me. And the higher the stacks of it all the better! Big smile.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Debbie
Beautiful collections. Sorry you weren't able to sleep but time well used!

Pardon me while I go back to dusting. Because I filed extension for taxes, I must atone in some manner. Hey, I'm impressed by those pix, J.
