French Caged Glory... A Wire Cloche

We girls can take care of ourselves and get WHAT WE WANT...even if times are a little tough!

Like me, you have probably seen those neat French wire cages around blogland.

This is my low cost interpretation. I took an old wire end cap from a round gutter. Theresa from time worn interiors had to
tell me what it was, and...

added an interesting vintage lamp finial and old clay saucer. I put together a small still life to feature inside. Then I had my own very personal "French Cage" centerpiece.

  1. & a masterful story of your genius. Light cover speaks volumes more than a cage.

  7. That cage thingy you have is actually a end cap for a round gutter! The wires (open end) would slip right into the end of the gutter. The gutters are round, twisted looking tubes, they are very cool and I've only 3 or 4 of these gutters in 30 years. The ends are more common, but most people don't know what they are! I love what you did with it! Great job!
