This storage box is my current favorite thing
This drawer storage box has the funkiest finish.
It is some kind of wacky textured pastel spray paint.
With what looks like colored terrarium gravel sprinkled on.
A one-of-a-kind piece probably "refinished" between
the late 1950's to 1970's is my guess.
I love finding things that I have never seen before!
Is this a finish you've ever seen?
This is a LOVE it or HATE it piece.

ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the spray on velvet finish that was on the sides of the exam tables in my small town medical clinic when I was a child in the 70s. One was bright red and one was harvest gold..HOW could that have been hygenic?? LOL
