I am continuing to poke around my studio
AKA the basement for stuff to send along to new homes.
This morning I found these.
I always have thought that they would be neat
repurposed into something,
but what?
What would you make out of them?
Available at anythinggoeshere.etsy.
SOLD
oh man oh man...what a flashback from Catholic school...haven’t thought of these or seen these in many, many years. I think I would like to see them used as a teaching aid to help people learn music!!
ReplyDeleteI'd turn them up side down and hang art(small tags, postcards...belts,necklaces??????
ReplyDeleteAs a musician I think immediately of the original use, but how would it look turned upside down with a vintage piece of music resized smaller to set in the hooks? Those are a great find and I can't wait to see what you do with them!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings! Doni
ok - this is too coincidental - I just saw one of these vintage chalk holders on the whisperwood cottage blog - it brought back a flood of childhood memories - and I thought, "god, I would love to find one of those!" and now here they are...but I really don't need four (I know, what I am saying...since when did need enter into the equation?!) I will have to think about what to do with them...I realize that my waiting may result in them being sold...but I am thinking very hard!
ReplyDeleteKey hanger? Not very creative, I know, but it's the first thing I thought of...
ReplyDeleteI used to be a teacher and used these to mark lines on the chalkboard to teach graph making and coordinate points. It was very useful for that purpose!
