World Traveling Friends

I am reposting this as part of Sunday Favorites... It was first posted in May... and I love the old pictures and vintage luggage {both part of my collections at the time} and wanted to share it will you again....

While they traveled the world...

from Europe...

to the rockies...

to old Maine's cottages.

They used their luggage. I mean they really, really USED their luggage..

then repaired it, patched it up...

and USED it some more!

Wouldn't it have been being one of these friends ~ and being part of their globe trotting adventures?

  8. I love old trunks and suitcases although they aren't too practical these days! lol!!

Seriously, I have seen where they are used in decor, propped open, with beautiful linens spilling out. Would love to have something like that.

    Great repeat post, Joan!!

  9. Hi Joan! Oh Happy Day. Oh Happy Day. Sherry has not forgotten you. I have had so many things going on in my life, and what with my niece and all, I am so behind on getting out thank yous sweetie. I just wanted you to know that I just got it posted. From your antique towel give away. Please stop by my blog and read your thank you. I had several I needed to do, and things have been so hectic. I just found out last week that I have (2) fractures in my foot, and am in a boot for (4) weeks, if that doesn't heal then I will have to go to a hard cast. I am dreading this one. I too, am having a give away. I would so love for you to enter. Again, my apologies for being late sweetie, but it is posted. Thanks again for everything. You are a doll. Country hugs and love, Sherry
