I'm glad I stopped by your blog today because I was unaware of the letters and numbers party and this is right up my alley!! I loved your photos...I have alot of the same items stashed away in my studio. Guess I had better get them out and get some pictures taken!
I adore old vintage everything, but typography makes me weak in the knees. Seriously. I'm a dork like that. Thank you so much for sharing. I can't wait to go check out everyone's typographical treasures. Your old measuring tapes and printers' blocks are awesome!! Love them!
Hi Joan, Thanks for the reminder..I just updated my post about the party tomorrow. xo Pam P.S. That barometer dial thingamajig in your first photo is OUT OF THIS WORLD!
Hi! Thanks for putting the word out about the party! I am swooning over the Tailor's Trimmings thing...what is it anyhow! I love your collection! F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!!
All that stuff is so HOT now. At gift shows that's all you see!!! I sold ceramic balls with letters printed on them last Christmas....that everyone picked up. They had not idea what to do with them but they all sold!!! YiPpY!!!
I want to give you 4 cents! I love that post. It makes me want to go around my house and take pictures of my numbers!!!! I am so glad to find your blog. smiles, alice
I love the old tape measures and the scrabble tiles - reminds me of my Grammie. Your vintage items remind me that I forgot to include my old typewriter in my post.
I love numbers and definitely letters (afterall, letters in names are what my artwork is all about haha)
I see that quite a number of items have their ties with Wisconsin...my dad's family are from Wisconsin... I love going to estate sales when we are up visiting him.
I have a thick big water-jet cut aluminum letter B that my husband brought home from work..., and just love it.
ReplyDeleteWell that was fun, and suddenly I feel something lacking from my own decor!
ReplyDeleteAwesome.....numbers and letters the learning stepping stones of our lifes and you made a business of it! Neat...
